These companies do not have the right to use the TCIA trademark and are not affiliated in any way with our association.
TCIA accreditation is a "seal of approval" that helps homeowners find tree care companies that have been inspected and accredited based on adherence to industry standards for quality and safety; maintenance of trained, professional staff; and dedication to ethics and quality in business practices.
Credible companies have to work hard to be accredited by TCIA and
because of this, less reputable companies may fraudulently claim
accreditation.

The following companies falsely claim to be accredited by TCIA:
- EnviroCare Tree Solutions LLC of Tuscan, AZ
This company displays the TCIA Accreditation logo on their website. This company is not, nor has ever been, accredited by TCIA.
- Malec Tree Service of Harrisville, RI
This company displays the TCIA Accreditation logo on their invoices. This company is not, nor has ever been, accredited by TCIA.
- Stewart's Professional Tree Service & Landscaping of Cartersville, GA
This company was accredited by TCIA but is not currently accredited by TCIA. They still display the TCIA Accreditation logo on their website.
- Whole Tree Care by Trapper’s Tree Service of Columbus, OH
This company displays the TCIA Accreditation logo on their website. This company is not, nor has ever been, accredited by TCIA.

TCIA also has a due diligence to post a public notice when a
company’s Accreditation is involuntarily terminated for a period of one year:
