Bigger, better and brilliantly-colored – TCIA’s Tree Care Academy Crew Leader manual update

Last updated in 2001, the Tree Care Academy Crew Leader manual recently received a much-needed update to address new topics in an ever-changing industry, but we didn’t stop there.

To receive the Crew Leader Qualification, the prospective, or veteran, crew leaders will be required to complete the pre-test in the Tree Care Academy Crew Leader manual, then attend a full day workshop, followed by a proctored exam. Designed to build upon the teachings in the manual, the workshop will provide experience in real life scenarios that crew leaders might encounter in the field, and passing the proctored exam will earn the attendee a recognized industry credential.

The new, full-color manual is available for purchase from our store, and the first Crew Leader Qualification workshop will take place on November 1st, 2017, at TCI EXPO in Columbus, OH. See expo.tcia.org for more information.
