TCIA was pleased to host the ASC A300 Committee at our headquarters this past week for their Fall meeting. This is the group that writes the ANSI A300 Standards - industry consensus standards for the management of trees, shrubs, and other plants. Be on the lookout for an upcoming revision of Part 1: Pruning, the A300 standard that covers writing work specifications for pruning. This is the most popular A300 standard, and the committee has put lots of work into revising it to be consistent with current best practices.
