Anyone can be awarded a project with a low bid. A winning bid is when the contractor performs the work to meet the specifications, and make a profit. The presentation will discuss the components of most agency contracts, ways to evaluate the contract prior to bidding, ideas to work with agencies to improve contract specifications, and resources to find available bid opportunities.

Two Rope Rigging

Some days one rope is just not enough! Often the application of a second rigging line can aid in lessoning work load and limiting property damage. Multiple ropes can spread rigging forces and allow lowering of larger pieces efficiently. However, the direction of force, loads on anchors and rigging points can all change significantly. This webinar will take a look at when more than one rope may be appropriate. We will also look at the changed forces involved and the best use of multiple ropes on the job site.
