This Workshop is Specifically Tailored to the Tree Care Industry
This workshop complies with the MIOSHA requirements in Part 58.
This program fulfills the MIOSHA Training Requirements – while tailored to fit the industry or individual employer’s needs, it still fulfills the MIOSHA Training Requirements.
All employees working with Aerial Work Platforms must be trained by a qualified person to perform work duties while aloft in an Aerial Work Platform. Simplified: All employers must provide training to all employees that will be driving, working aloft, or assisting with an aerial work platform
Each attendee will be given instruction on Aerial Lift procedures and requirements a written test will be given and then mailed to TCIA for grading purposes. If attendee attains a passing grade on test, TCIA will mail them a laminated wallet card, certificate, hard hat decal, and an Aerial Lift Specialist embroidered patch.
Employer’s can use this certificate for employee file purposes as to meeting the MIOSHA requirements of providing training for Aerial Work Platform procedures and the laminated wallet card may be carried by the employee at all times to prove that the employer or the employee has trained or is trained to perform work duties while aloft in an aerial work platform.
Registration Fee Includes Book, Exam, coffee and a light lunch.
