Let’s put the “FUN” back in in “fundraiser” this year – support the future of our industry while indulging in an afternoon of guilt-free golf!
Organized and hosted by the Tree Care Industry Association Foundation (TCIAF), proceeds from the Robert Felix Memorial Golf Tournament benefit students of arboriculture by financially supporting two different programs: TREE FUND, and TCIAF’s annual Student Career Days event at TCI EXPO.
Not only are you funding the future by playing, but the Royal St. Kitts Golf Club, home to this year’s tournament, offers one of the most scenic golf courses in the Caribbean! Its extraordinary layout boasts sun-drenched greens lined with coconut palms along the Atlantic Ocean.
The Robert Felix Memorial Golf Tournament honors the vision of industry leaders Bob and Pat Felix for the next generation of arborists. Prior to his passing, Bob Felix was a past board member and past president of the Tree Care Industry Association (then known as the National Arborist Association, or NAA) and long-time supporter of the tree care industry.
Did you know? Andy Felix, President of TCIA member company Tree Tech, Inc. in Foxboro, MA, and current Chair of TCIA’s Board of Directors, is Bob and Pat’s son. Andy’s term as chair will come to a close at WMC 2019 when Alan Jones, CTSP of Bartlett Tree Experts is sworn in.
Grab your clubs, recruit your friends and plan on an afternoon of good-humored competition! Registration includes beautiful views, a shared cart, green fees, lunch, beverages, awards reception and prizes. Pre-registration is required.
Haven’t had the chance to perfect your swing, but still want to support future arborists? Partnership opportunities are available! Consider sponsoring a hole or hosting a golfer challenge. Contact Amy at 800-733-2622 or email@example.com.

And, of course, bid on silent and live auction items that run the gamut from handcrafted jewelry to exotic vacations. The best part? Your attendance (and your bidding) help us raise funds for the Voice for Trees Political Action Committee (VFT-PAC), which takes direct action on legislative and regulatory issues that affect the tree care industry. This is the only annual fundraiser for VFT-PAC, so let’s party for a cause in St. Kitts. Reserve your spot by contacting Amy Tetreault, director of development & special programs, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 800-733-2622.
