Winter Management Conference 2018

Due to high demand, the WMC room block at the Westin has already sold out! However, we have secured rooms at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa, and the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel, both within short walking distance of the Westin. Keep reading for details about what each hotel has to offer! You are able to make reservations after September 5th for these two hotels. Please see below for details.

All WMC 2018 activities will take place at the Westin Maui Resort & Spa unless otherwise noted.


The Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa

Experience paradise at on 23 oceanfront acres on legendary Pu’u Keka’a (Black Rock) on Ka’anapali Beach at the Sheraton Maui Resort and Spa! The Sheraton is the sister hotel to the Westin, only a short, 15-minute walk along the Ka’anapali Beachwalk or an even shorter ride on their complimentary shuttle between hotels.

Partial Ocean View: $355

Rooms are subject to tax and fees. All rooms are single or double occupancy. Children 17 and under are free when sharing room with a parent. Rooms accommodate up to four (4) persons. If the third or fourth person is an adult the rate is an additional $80/night per person. Rooms are for registered WMC attendees only unless approval is given by TCIA.

The Sheraton WMC group rate is valid through Wednesday, January 3, 2018, or until the block sells out, whichever comes first. After September 5th please call toll free 888-627-8114 and be sure to mention Tree Care Industry Association/WMC to secure the group rate. 

WMC attendees receive a discount on the resort fee. This $15/day fee (normally $35/day) covers a variety of amenities and services, including:

  • High Speed Internet Access in your guestroom
  • 1st day of parking is free
  • Shuttle to Westin
  • Shuttle to Lahaina Town
  • Local and 800 calls

Hotel Amenities

Unwind by the Sheraton’s 142-yard fresh water swimming lagoon and jacuzzi surrounded by lush tropical plants and waterfalls, or walk down to Ka’anapali Beach to dip your toes in the tide. The property features a fully-equipped fitness center, open 24 hours for hotel guests, as well as three nightly-lit tennis courts and a pro shop.

Need a babysitter? Utilize the Sheraton’s childcare services, and schedule yourself a relaxing getaway for treatment at the Spa at Black Rock.

Looking for a place to grab dinner or a drink and lighter fare? The Sheraton is home to restaurants, grills, bars and lounges featuring fusion foods, fun cocktails and even Hank’s Haute Hot Dogs. Or, experience the Maui Nui Luau, a dinner show that shares stories, history and culture of the Valley Isle and Kaanapali through the songs and dances of Maui and the Pacific.

The Westin Maui Resort & Spa *SOLD OUT

For attendees who have reserved rooms at the Westin, here is what you can expect to enjoy during your stay!

WMC attendees receive a discount on the resort fee. 
This $20/day fee (normally $30/day) covers a variety of amenities and services, including:

  • High Speed Internet Access in your guestroom and public areas
  • Two (2) bottles of water replenished daily, as needed
  • Self-parking for one vehicle per room
  • Shuttle service to Lahaina Town
  • Logo souvenir eco bag
  • Outdoor portrait sitting and free 4x6 color photograph through Reflections Photography

WMC attendees staying at the Westin also receive a 10% discount on spa treatments, discounted pricing on the breakfast buffet at Relish Bistro (when not participating in the WMC group breakfasts), and a 20% discount on Kids’ Club.

The Ka’anapali Beach Hotel *SOLD OUT

Perfectly situated on world-famous Kaʻanapali Beach, this oceanfront hotel is the ideal place for you to relax and unwind in paradise. It is just a short, 8-minute walk along the Ka’anapali Beachwalk to the Westin.

After September 5th call toll free 800-262-8450, Monday through Friday 6:00am-6:00pm HST and Saturday/Sunday 7:00am-3:00pm HST, and be sure to mention Tree Care Industry Association/WMC to secure the group rate. 

For attendees who reserve rooms at the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel, there is no resort fee. High speed Internet Access is available in your guestroom at no charge.

All three hotels have breathtaking views of the mountains across Ka’anapali Golf Resort, home to the Ka’anapali Kai and the Royal Ka’anapali courses. Shopping & Attractions

Satisfy the urge to shop with a short walk to nearby Whalers Village, an open-air, beachside mall home to 60 retailers, restaurants, a whaling museum, hula lessons, and more.

Want to venture outside of the resort area? The Westin and Sheraton offer complimentary shuttles to Lahaina Town where you can enjoy historic tours, beaches, restaurants, shows, whale watching cruises, helicopter tours, and other exciting activities.

With a convenient pick-up point at nearby Whalers Village, the Ka’anapali Beach Hotel recommends utilizing Maui County’s public bus system for transport between Central, South, West, Haiku, Kula and Upcountry Maui. Fare is $2 per boarding, with weekly passes also available.

Travel

Fly into Kahului Airport (OGG). Once you land, hail a taxi for the one-hour drive to your hotel on Ka’anapali Beach (approximately $80). All three hotels offer access to airport shuttle services and ground transportation, which you must book in advance through the hotels’ transportation sites.
