TCIA’s 2018 Products and Services Guide

It’s that time of year! The Tree Care Industry Association’s annual Products and Services Guide features 35 pages of full-color images and helpful descriptions (with CEU details, where applicable!) to help you select the training and development topics you’d like to tackle with your team this year.

The guide showcases a full line-up of products, services and credentialing programs, including some of our newest program offerings:

  • Tree Care Academy Crew Leader manual and Crew Leader Qualification
  • Best Practices for Crane Use in Arboriculture
  • Tree Care Academy Crane Operations Specialist manual

Want to take your business to the next level in 2018? The guide also outlines a few options you might want to consider to give yourself the competitive edge in the new year, including TCIA Accreditation, Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) certification and the Electrical Hazards Awareness Program (EHAP).

Interested in hosting a half- or full-day safety training to increase safety and boost team morale? Tree care companies are encouraged to apply for grants to fund training in their area. Read up on the Arborist Safety Training Institute (ASTI) grant program in the guide, as well!

TCIA members will receive a copy of the 2018 Products and Services Guide with the January issue of the Reporter as the January Member Benefit of the Month.

Magazine subscribers will receive the guide with the January issue of TCI Magazine.

Not a member or a magazine subscriber? All of these programs, products and services can also be viewed online at TCIA.org, where you can gather more information and make a purchase. Although, we do hope you’ll consider signing up to become a TCIA member. Dues for the first year are just $195, and the benefits of membership are worth so much more than your initial investment. What are you waiting for – join TCIA today!

Did you know that we ran an Instagram contest for our cover photo? On the cover of this year’s Products and Services Guide is David Bocci, crew foreman/lift operator at Weise Choice Tree Services, LLC, photographed by Daniel Weise, owner and a Connecticut licensed arborist and CTSP, and edited by Shawn Cheney. Congrats to Weise Choice, and thank you to everyone who submitted photos!
