The membership of TCIA is composed of commercial tree care businesses. All employees are members through a company membership.TCIA develops a wide range of tree care safety and training programs, industry standards of practice, government compliance and business management information, plus a host of other services to assist business owners in the successful growth of their business.
Are business owners required to be licensed, certified, or take a test to join TCIA?
No, the requirements to join TCIA are to own a commercial tree care business, and carry General Liability and Workers' Compensation Insurance (if there are employees).
How does the zip code search work?
Press releases are sent out to newspapers throughout the country. When a press release is run, consumers either call or look on our web site to receive a list of TCIA member companies that will service their zip code. TCIA provides this service to increase your business.
