The Award of Merit
The Award of Merit is the highest honor paid by Tree Care Industry Association to an individual or company. We don’t always give an Award of Merit each year, so this is considered our industry’s most prestigious recognition. The Pat Felix Volunteer of the Year Award
Since the retirement of Pat Felix in March 2001, TCIA has helped carry on her legacy of hard work and dedication with the Pat Felix Volunteer of the Year Award. The award is presented annually to a TCIA member volunteer who has gone above and beyond the call of duty as a volunteer.

The Safety Award
The TCIA Safety Awards recognize exemplary action in two areas. The Outstanding Individual/Crew Performance award recognizes an individual's or crew's heroic reaction to an emergency situation. The Outstanding Company Contribution award recognizes a member's proactive program to address safety issues.

Advancing Arboriculture Award
This award is given to a governmental agency, institution or green industry partner, that has worked to advance legislation, regulation or practices favorable to the tree care industry. It is selected by the TCIA Board of Directors with input from TCIA staff.
